Coming Home

Daily routine

Well, my daily routine has settled down. The big male wakes up first and gives me breakfast.

The small male is here the longest after the sun rises. Then I have a few hours to rest, and play, and wander and torment the dogs. The small female arrives home first and gives me a little snack, cuz I'm a growing boy. I hang out with her until the small male gets home. He's awesome. We snuggle and play. Sometimes, he disappears with the dogs. When they come back, the dogs just lay down and sleep. They are so tired.

Then the big people arrive home and I get dinner. We all spend the evening sitting quietly and I get to snuggle a little with everyone. Then everyone goes to bed and I get another little snack. I'm not going to tell what I do when the humans are sleeping. That's my secret.

So the days are ordered.

Strange Cats & Dogs

There are 4 other cats at my new home. They all act very strangely with their mouths hanging open. The big black one seems to have figured out that I'm deaf and young, so he let's me play with him. The 2 females and orange male still don't really want me to hang out, but we sniff noses most of the time like we're going to be friends.

The 2 dogs who live there must miss their sheep cuz they keep trying to push me around. But I just show them my claws and they back right off.

The humans are great. When the big female is in the kitchen, she gives me nibbles of chicken and other treats. The big male is really soft and warm. I love to cuddle up on his chest when he sits down. The smaller female is ok. She feeds me when she gets home and she pets me lots.

But, the small male is fabulous and my favorite. I sit and help him with his computer. I sleep on his bed and we get along great. I stayed in his room when I first got here, so that's my special place anyway. The small male carries me around, so I don't have to walk. He snuggles and pets me lots.
