Last night Mawmee had dinner with my new Daddy M.'s sister. They went to high school together which means they have been friends a really long time!

She said that I'm doing really good, and that when Daddy M.'s other sister came to visit, I came running out to see her. I probably thought it was Mawmee! I was glad to hear a female voice because there is a lot of testosterone in this house! I talked and talked to her and was very friendly.

Daddy M.'s brother who lives with us gets upset because he likes cats but I don't run up to see him. I'll tell you why - he owns that big, ginormous dog! Mawmee's friend told her that he comes downstairs in the morning and starts yelling, Vivien, Vivien, and that is when I run to my room! Mawmee's friend said he needs to be quieter and maybe I'll come to him. MOL!

She said I've come out to the family room when the big dog was sleeping, so I'm making a little progress. It made Mawmee cry a little, but they were happy tears because she knows I'm going to be okay!

That's great Viv. We're happy to hear you're settling in so well. That doggie is not going away so I'm afraid you'll have to get used to him. You're coming out of your shell since you're greeting visitors (well some visitors). Purrs to your continued progress.

Glad you're doing well, and yes, a quiet voice helps the adjustment a whole lot more than a loud voice!

Oh, I know it's bittersweet for your mawmee but she's got so much love for you to want whats best for you. How wonderful that you're doing so great! Glad to hear the good mews, keep it up.

Ohhhhh Vivien!!! It sounds like you have lots of people who love you in your new home!!! I know you miss your mommy and daddy and they miss you very much but it must be so wonderful to be queen of your own castle!!!

I run away from noisy people and heavy big feet. He needs to walk really quiet like and not smell like the dog! Treats in the pocket are nice, too.

So glad to hear you are doing well in your new home. Sounds like you are getting used to the doggie just a little. Even if he was sleeping when you came out, you still came out. Small steps and you will get there we are sure.

Nice to hear from you again. We could go there and teach your dog brofur how to behave...we have one ourselves...and OMC, he can be loud...Earplugs pawlease!
Even though, dog guy likes kitties, I don't think it would do well to send him instead of us, MOL!
