Favorite Nap Spot:
Buddy has 2 "spots" that everyone knows are his: the lazy boy chair or the right side of the couch.
Favorite Food:
APD, tuna (runs into the kitchen when any can is being opened!) and popcorn!
Skills:
Buddy knows how to tell you something by the way he sits. If he sits in the hallway and stares at you... that means he has no more food. He's a high jumper and is often mistaken for a mountain lion!

Arrival Story:
We originally intended just to get Buddy's sister but "daddy" just fell in love with him! He fell over into his hands while he was being pet! We ended up taking him home along with Gracie on the same night!
He also is a special kitty who has one ear sorta bitten off. The story is that the owner of Buddy's mom had licked his fingers to try to get something off of Buddy's ears when he was born. Mommy cat didn't like it so she took off "the lick" in the only way she knew how! Poor thing has a little bite out of his left ear!

I was trying to get all comfy cozy up on momma and dad's bed last night. I never sleep with them so I thought they'd like for me to! Grace them with my presence!
I got settled in a nice spot and Gracie jumped up! She went to attack me, but momma stopped that right quick. She was mad that she couldn't "play" with me on the bed, but oh well. I just wanted to sleep.
I lay down by momma's legs when I do sleep on the bed, but I don't think she likes it. She kept movin' around!
I got so aggravated that I hissed at her! She didn't like this and dad was trying to reassure her I didn't hiss. But there was no hiding it...I know she saw and heard me!! So I tried to settle in again by her legs and she moved again...only to make me hiss once more!
I wish I wouldn't have done that! I got scolded by momma and she made me get off the bed. I walked as slow as I could to the edge to see if maybe she'd let me cuddle at the edge, but she was persistent!
I just wanted to go to sleep! My reaction was to get mad and tell them!
Oh well! Maybe I'll try to sleep on the bed tonight!

When Momma and Daddy got a new couch, I sniffed it out for the best spots to nap. I found "my" spot and I sleep there all the time!
Every once in awhile, some guy goes to sit in my nap spot, while I'm sleeping there!! Ugh...the nerve!! And sometimes they don't even see me and put their ugly butt in my face! Luckily, I get up in the nick of time before getting smashed between the couch and their butt! What they don't realize is that I shed a lot and if they are wearing dark pants, they usually take a little bit of my fur with them before they go! HA HA! I think my fur has been all over Long Beach! And sometimes I get kitty litter stuck in my paws and clean it off in my spot and little pieces of litter get on their butt too! It's funny to watch them leave and complain to Momma and Daddy about it!
When I get booted off of my spot, I sit in front of them and wait until they scoot over to retain my spot. If they don't move, Momma usually tells them to, so I can have my spot back. She's pretty thoughtful...but I usually just grab some quick pets and jet off to the kitty condo.
