Oh my goodness, but the last few days were CRAZY! There were all kinds of boxes and paper and toys and noise and food cooking...
Ruby and I were AWESOME at begging when Mom was cooking or in the fridge! One of us distracts her and the other goes into the fridge to forage! It works ALMOST every time....
My sibs and I got loads of pressies and treats! I laid in the bed with a good portion of them and just played! Then I would fall asleep on them so no other furball could get them! MOL!
We are 'sorta' back to normal (is there such a thing as normal in our house?) and I am glad for that. Mom says I am getting to be such a big girl and she is proud of me.
All I know is that when she calls for "Flurry! Ruby! Orla!" I RUN like crazy because I know that means it's time to eat!

Happy New Ears, everykitty! Jeez, my area aren't too old, so why am I getting new ones????

Is this thing on?

Um, I really don't know much about diaries and/or journals, so I will just start with this.
I came to my new home and about 4 days in, my spay site got infected. The docs think I had an allergic reaction to the materials they used to keep me stitched up. In addition, since I am all white, there is a really good chance that I am more susceptible to allergies/allergic reactions. That would explain my sometimes watery and red eyes, huh?
Jeez, I talked about things not so good. Let me turn this around and talk about some really good things!
I have brothers and sisters that I like very much, especially Ruby! We are together most of the time. I really like playing with her! I like my big brother, Flurry, too! He's sweet and gentle. My OTHER CH brother, Jake is NOT gentle! He is a madman! He breaks things and goes places he shouldn't, he tries to steal food AND he bothers some of the other kitties. Daddy says he is a 'bad cat' and Mommy says "No, he's really good at being a cat! He's just clumsy!" I like our round denim bed in the dining room and the flannel blankie in the kitchen and the kittykube in the living room. I LOVE wand toys very much! I also like jingle balls and have helped my sibs bat them back under all the things Mommy from which Mommy freed them yesterday!
Last thing I want to mention about the things I like...I LOVE being touched! I don't even wait for the actual connection, as soon as I see a hand coming for me, I start purring! I lean my head towards the hand, too, in case the rest of the person attached to it doesn;t know how much Ilike being petted!

Oh! One more thing before I go to take a nap...
Yesterday, Ruby and I had our photo taken with Santa at Petco.
It was REALLY nice! Mommy was doing an event there with some shelter animals and Petco was doing a fundraiser for their shelter. It was $10 for a photo with Santa and you got a really cute frame AND a free lunch! The manager had it catered! But, the money went to the Mommy's work! Daddy drove us down to get our photo, we were VERY good and the photo made everyone really happy! Before we went home, Mom told Dad that Petco had raised over $5,000 for the shelter!! Woo Hoo!! That is PAWSOME and will help lots of kitties and doggies.
Well...there is a flannel blankie right by the radiator that is calling to me....Gotta run! Talk to you later!
