Arrival Story:
When we rented a house, we were allowed to have one cat and no dogs. We went to the local SPCA, looked over the cats, and went home to think about it. I don't think she was originally our first choice, but she grew on us during our second visit, and we took her home that day.

Bio:
We pronounce her name 'Sassy.' The SPCA had it spelled 'Sassay' - we weren't sure if it was just a misspelling, or if it was supposed to be pronounced Sass-Say. We thought about changing it to the common spelling, but she's kind of quirky, so we kept the extra letter.
