She plays tag and has NEVER jumped on our tables or counter tops. :) She really seems to enjoy her baths...She trusts me completely when I bath her.

Arrival Story:
Patches was dumped after her family moved to our town and found out they could only have one pet. They decided to keep the dog and put Patches out into the world on her own. Patches was about a year old and in season. We had a quiet, secluded back yard with a high fence and patio. Patches chose our back yard for her new home. She had a badly injured eye, had been abused and was starving. We found out who her owners were, thinking she had been lost and they were looking for her. When they told us they had put Patches out we decided to get her medical help and make her our own. She had eye surgery and was *fixed* I am happy to say she still has sight in her injured eye. It healed well. She is a very loyal, loving and protective cat. She loves to take naps with her family members. She even likes to play with our Scotties...when it is HER idea. ;).
Bio:
Patches is old but she still acts like a kitten. She has a beautiful calico color and short hair. Her coat color is blended on the top and in color blocks on her belly. One thing that is VERY unique about her looks are her extremely short legs...her belly almost touches the ground! She fits right in with our short legged Scotties! She has lost some of her teeth and she is just now starting to show her age. Patches REALLY enjoys holiday lights whether they are Halloween, Christmas or any other holidays lighting. She thinks the Christmas tree is hers! She doesn't bother the ornaments, just the curling ribbons I use as tinsel. She sleeps under the tree behind the gifts. We sure love this silly little cat. She is a great family member. NOTE: With our Vet's help Patches was helped over the Rainbow Bridge on 4/24/08. God was calling her home. It won't be the same without her. She was in our lives for 17 years.
