Hello and Happy New Year! Mommy and I are really missing Catster lately. Mommy has been checking in a lil bit more, and was surprised to see Catster advertising for a local Vet Clinic that ENCOURAGES declawing....Wha wha whaaaat? Have things really changed that much? Yikes!
Well, we hope to be back soon, but we must make this quick! Poor Mommy has to return to work tomorrow. She had 14 days off, which was nice....However, she got the blues and slept a lot, (which us kitties loved!) She also ate too much, and didn't get as much work done as she had planned. Oh well, maybe returning to her busy schedule will at least get her out of her blue mood. She will be non-stop through out January....working late writing curriculum and doing after school activities, and also starting her online Grad School courses. Report cards and conferences are also coming up in January. She is really stressing right now! Hopefully the month will fly by and she can relax a bit in February!
Well, take care everyone! We miss you and hope to be back soon! Love, Minka
Hi Minka! My mom gets blue during the holidays, too. She does better when she's on a schedule. Hope your mom is feeling better!
I don't know how they do it, but I think the ads are made to be local. My ad encourages me as an Idaho resident to go to college in Oregon. It's weird when the ads get so specific! Kinda scary!
Hope to see you again soon!
Helloooooooo! Long time is right!!
But that's OK, we know that someday you will be back...full time...MOL! Well, maybe not but we love ya anyways!
Happy New Year!
Best wishes to your Mommy as she goes to busy times, at least for a while.
We wish her evfurry success!
Minko & Pipo
By the way, that really is a scary sounding ad...what are they thinking...I guess they are NOT thinking! HISS!
Nice to hear from you! Givin' your momma some purrs.
DECLAWING??? NO NO NO!!! I was declawed by a previous owner before mommy got me... NO DECLAWING!!!
Hi, Minka, and happy new year! You are as beautiful as ever. What will your mom be studying in grad school - edu-cat-ion?
Believe it or not our vet encourages it too. He says it's not really a big deal. Mom thanks his way of thinking is the parents will be happier with their cat if it's not destroying the furniture. Mom says she kinda understands that way of thanking bacause she has seen doggies go to the shelter just because of their chewing and she said theirs nothing sadder than that.
Despite that, we are not declawed and won;'t be. Mom says she can't bear the thought of the surgery.
