Arrival Story:
Please pray for my Bonnie Belle as in July 2010 she was diagnosed with two tiny tumors in her lungs. As of December she is still hanging in there but has lost so much weight. I found a small kitten (about 6-8 weeks old) under a car in the parking lot where I formerly worked. Although showing no signs of external injuries she definitely had something wrong so I brought her home with me. In order for her to sleep and relax that night I had to lie on the floor holding her up in a sitting position. First thing next morning we were off to the vet but she still had no name so since we had Hurricane Bonnie aiming for us (it later turned & missed us) I decided to call her Bonnie since it looked as though the storm had blown her in. It was discovered that Bonnie had a diaphragmatic hernia and unless she had surgery she wouldn't survive for long. The doctor told me, days after the surgery, that he was afraid she wouldn't make it because of her size but that, "Bonnie has a strong will and also animals know when someone loves them and she DEFINITELY has that!!" Bonnie, I am happy to report, is now the boss of the household and happy being the big, bossy sister to her brother Clyde (who came along 10 months after big sister).

Bio:
This is Momma's Jealous Girl. When Mom is home Bonnie is right there with her. When Mom lays down on the bed, Bonnie's right there beside her. She loves to play as long as little brother Clyde isn't around, then she won't play as she wants him to think she's much too mature for that.
