one month in our new home

Sorry we have been away for so long, but our mommy lost one ofher dearest friends and has been dealing with that and some other stuff. We're both doing very well now in our new home. We don't hide like we used to. We're eati ng very well and we both sleep with mommy every night. We were introduced to the other cats upstairs the other night. There were no fights, but we are aware that there is a 'pecking' order here. Hooper wandered around checking stuff out the entire time. I investigated a few things and then decided laying next to mommy was the best option. Mommy is also finding out that I will eat just about anything she puts in front of me, while my sister hooper is very finicky.

Our new home/day three

Today was much more progressive. I'm letting mommy hold me some now without getting so touchy about it. I've been out exploring more. Mommy also bought us more presents! We got a pam pur salon, a kitty playhouse which I love, but Hooper just seems to be ignoring right now, and a new toy that bobs and spins and light up! Mommy also found out that I like the second shelf on her little night table, so she converted it into a cat tower for us! Our little cat bed is on top and a fleece blanket is folded up on the bottom level. She definitely makes me feel like the princess I am, but I will still have to keep her and everyone else in line here...purrrrrr...:D

Our new home...day two

My sister and I are getting settled in pretty quickly with our new home. We both fell alseep last night on the bed with mommy. We're not being a hissy with each other now either. In fact, we have even laid on mommy's bed together a few times. Mommy made us both a new collar. Mine is purple with a gold bow in back to match Hooper's collar, and Hooper's is gold with a purple bow in back to match mine..:). Mommy made them as break-away collars in case we get snagged on anything. We had a nice breakfast this morning and our brushing. Afterwards, we finally got to go exploring into the rest of our new apt. home. Hooper is so much braver than I am. She went out and made the rounds first and then came back and sat beside mommy's bed where I was at to tell me it was okay. I finally made my way out and wound up getting under the tub in the bathroom where it hasn't been completely closed in yet. Mommy got me out with some coaxing and we all went back to the bedroom to recoup and feel safe. Mommy's room is our safe haven and we know it...:) I wonder what will be on the agenda for tomorrow...perhaps more exploring!

First day at my new home!

I didn't much like the car ride home, I was VERY vocal. When we got to my new home with my new mommy and daddy, I was so ready to get out of my carrier. I investigated my new place and let mommy and daddy pet me and love me. I drank a little water and ate some treats, and then spent most of this first night under my new mommy and daddy's bed.
