I have yet to find something that irritates him! Well maybe excessive licking from the dog!
Favorite Toy:
Anything that is alive, but he will settle for a Catnip filled mouse!!! Anything made with feathers, fur or catnip! Emi, Samonosuke, and occasionally our hands!
Favorite Nap Spot:
The darkest, and most remote, hidden place in the house-- usually under shelves, up in closets behind anything! Also he loves to nest in a fluffed up sheet on the couch.
Favorite Food:
He has been eating Royal Canin, pounce treats, and loving it. Also, he likes to snatch a bite of Emi's lamb and rice kibble every now and then. Also once he tried to lick Emi's frosty paws, but he learned not to do that, lol!
Skills:
Well so far Bagheera has shown the incredible ability to be the sweetest, softest, cleanest, most well behaved Nomad i have ever seen! He has also been so friendly & nice, he has brought Samonosuke out of his 'loner' shell. :)

Arrival Story:
Well after having Samonosuke alone for 4 years, we decided to bring a dog into the home! Emi had been with us for about a month at the time. We were out on our night walk and we saw a black cat playing in the grass. I talked sweetly to it, steered Emi away as she gets very excited and kept walking on. Well about 15 minutes later after we had traveled quite a distance, i heard a meow come from a nearby bush. So i checked it out and to my surprise the black cat had silently stalked and fallowed us the whole time through the neighborhood bushes. So i started talking to him and petting him and he was so sweet and affectionate. We finished our walk, with him fallowing us the whole time all the way to our home. So i dragged Emi inside (to her dismay) and brought out a bowl of water and my cat's food. He gobbeled up 2 large handfuls right on the sidewalk, and kept meowing at him me, so i examined him a little bit outside and discovered that he was a young, neutered, declawed male. He seemed to be scared outside, and was begging to come in. I let him come inside since he was declawed (because wooley is declawed so it is a must) and he was very polite, and behaved extremeley well around my other 2 guys. He was very slow, and sweet and did not force himself on Wooley, and thanks to that delicate treatment they are now romping and playing and are great friends. Bagheera has really worked wonders with the snobby cat who hated every critter he'd ever met! We joked that Emi thought one cat wasn't enough so she brought another one home with her!
Bio:
We have been calling him Bagheera, after the black panther from The Jungle Book. I picked that name because he looks kind of wild in the face and has a very long, think tail that he can curl into a spiral almost! His tail is not just fur, it is thick too. I think the weight of his tail contributes to his excellent balance despite being declawed. He is more surefooted than Wooley is, but that could just be the kitten in him. Wooley used to be a bit more wild too!!! Bagheera is pitch black all over and his coat is really velvety and soft-- it feels like a rich velvet blanket and it shines so much that when he moves you just see this sheen moving across his whole body! When you rub on his fur it feels like a super soft, pliable stuffed animal and then just falls right back into place! He also has bright yellow eyes, and when they are closed all you see is black, no nose, no eyes, just fur. It is impossible to find him if he is sleeping in a dark place, which he often is. You have a better chance of getting a cat to come when called, lol! It almost seemed like fate with him showing up the way he did. It was kind of a hectic time, with a new puppy and our cat not really taking to her and just getting used to her. If he had not been declawed in his front 2 paws and neutered, he couldn't have come inside, and if he wasn't so polite and wonderful then he couldn't have stayed as a part of our pack. I honestly thought someone would be looking for this sweet, cared for, well mannered guy. I put up lost and found signs all over with a good photo of him, and no one ever called for him. I decided that i could not take him to the shelter, even though he would definately find a home soon, i feel that he picked us for a reason and he is just and extra piece to the puzzle! He also loves going outside during the day, and even though Samonosuke isn't allowed out, i feel it would be wrong to keep him locked up, but he always comes back before dusk, smart kitty. He never seems to go very far from home because i often see him down by the creek and other places when i am out walking Emi! He has been with us about a month now, and he wants to stay here and we love him too much now! We love this furball!
