Arrival Story:
During a snow storm I went outside to get something out of my car and found Smokey curled up on my porch. She was so hungry and cold. I felt so sorry for her and brought her into my house with the hopes I could find her a good home. Five years later Smokey is still with us. We were unable to find a suitable home for her, so we kept her. Smokey is such a loving little girl but gets upset quite easily. She walks right up to anyone who steps foot in our home. Smokey loves to be petted but gives no warning as to when she has had enough and will bite you very quickly. Smokey has nervous issues and will bite and lick her hair off. She also had a stroke 2 years ago when I found a 4 week old kitten in my backyard and brought it into the house. Now one side of her mouth will droop down most times and she drools all the time. She keeps a dazed look on her face especially when you call her name. It is almost like she doesn't know her name anymore, therefore we have to call kitty kitty to get her to come eat her food. Smokey likes to keep to herself unless she is laying on me.
