Storms and Sparklers

Today there were very bright lights and loud banging c0ming from the sky. My mommy seemed frantic in her search for something and for some reason she wanted me to come into the house today. She brought Denny in too and had our brother Toby with her at all times. The storm seemed to last for hours and there were loud ringing noises coming from the tv right before the house went completely dark. Mommy had to find something to bring light back into the home. She gave all of us a treat and that calmed us a bit and she made us stay in the hallway. After the long storm we still had no light and mommy made sure it was safe outside to allow Denny and I to go out. Our sister who is just like mommy brought out sparklers and put on a pretty light show in the backyard after it had stopped raining.

How to Scare Mommy 101

Today after a nice meal of scary black lizard as mommy would call it, I was feeling quite frisky. I decided a nice stroll through the bushes would be relaxing. My strolls usually left me wanting a nap but on this day something special was in the air. I had a strong desire to get into something I shouldn't and possibly cause some chaos. As luck would have it I came a across a snake looking much like a water moccasin but it could also be a king snake. This snake was just purrfect to pick up and bring to the back porch and play with. During my playtime mommy came outside to greet me and to her surprise a snake lay wriggling in front of her. She screamed her head off and it scared me so I ran. I had the slightest feeling mommy might not be too happy right now. She was so terrified she found someone to come and retrieve my playmate. I found myself bored but eventually decided a nice nap might be in my best interests.
