indoors Arrival Story: Nassia Eden Bates came to us after much prayer. She is healing to our pain of losing our beloved Paco to feline aids last October 28th. He was just 7 years old and the light of our lives. We know he is in Heaven waiting for us! Still, it hurts and my girls, ages 9 &6, were suffering from nightmares and fears of death. We have 2 mini schnauzers who are very much loved and considered children to us but it was not the same as our fuzzy kitty. I have loved cats and have been a cat fancier since I myself was a young child. The Ocicat was my dream. A couple months ago I started researching possibly getting one but soon discovered the Bengal breed. I was entranced and started planning and talking to several breeders. Finally we found one we liked, went to visit her and fell in love with Nassia. She has added so much joy to our family!!! Thank you God and Jesus for Paco and the awesome memories we have of him and thank you for Nassia and the memories to come! Lives Remaining: 8 of 9 The Groups I'm In: FANCYPANTS CAFE, Welcome Waggin' for Dogsters and Catsters, Bengal Babies!, Bengals are Crazy!, Christian Kitties, Pups N Purrs, ~~~*♥Dog Park USA♥*~~~ I've Been On Catster Since:
well, i lost one of my nine lives today. i was trying to be a bit too brave and conquer the railing of the stairs. i am not totally coordinated yet (AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT MY MOM KEEPS YELLING AT ME) and fell over the balcony to the bottom floor. OUCH! i let out a couple of sneezes, and even though it was one am (playtime!) mommy came running and scooped me up and held me for a long time. she put me on our bed where daddy checked me out some more but i didn't want to hold still because there was wriggling things under the covers. i decided that playing with those was better than being coddled over so i went after those wriggling things. suddenly dad screamed something had bit his poor toes! poor daddy, so i went over to him and make sure he was not hurt (i learned from the best!) and decided his warmth and comfy enough to settle down for the night. and in the morning my sisters woke up because it was time for me to eat their cereal. i ran around with mommy watching to make sure there were no boo boo's. mommy says i lost a life, i say i gained a tough lesson with a bump on the head!
