Help a Fellow Cat Lover
I have a 14 year old cat, Anna. She used to be slightly over weight and has gone from about 14 lbs down to 6 within about 6 months. I took her to the vet and they said she has a thyroid problem and a heart murmur but couldn't do anything for us unless we did bloodwork. I have put that off because we don't have very much money. She has been puking at least once a day for about 4 months now. She also poops all over the house. We've made sure her litter box is clean with in scented litter, and she won't use it. We've moved it closer to where she spends most of her time but she will poop on our bed, next to the box, or anywhere else she can find. I've watched her frantically running around and then all of the sudden she will stop and poop wherever she is. I'm not sure what to do. Like I said, we don't have a lot of money for tests and things like that to find out what is seriously wrong with her. When she throws up, she looks like she is in pain but then is fine after that. Is it time to put her down?
