Help a Fellow Cat Lover
I have a 2 year old male British Shorthair. He is a very friendly cat who loves our dog and just wants to play every time he sees her (unfortunately she is not so keen). I currently live with my family and there is always somebody at home during the day, however in the next couple of years once I finish university I will be living alone and working full time. I worry that my cat will become lonely and if I don't introduce a kitten while he is still young and playful, it will be too late. I feel like it's a gamble either way... Do I get a second cat and risk my first cat being unhappy if they are unable to coexist? Or do I take the risk that he will be lonely and miss out on that special cat companionship? Please help!
