Catster advocates for adopting before shopping, though we fully understand there are many reasons for seeking a breeder. So, we encourage it to be done the right way. We have not personally visited or investigated all of the breeders below. We have put the top-recommended all in one place for you to get in touch and make the best decision for you. Learn more about our stance and how to choose the right breeder here.

With their long, soft coats, sweet faces, and gentle personalities, Persians have been treasured pet cats for centuries. The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) reports that they are the most popular cat breed.

Because Persians are so popular, it’s especially important to get your new Persian kitten from a reputable breeder. Persian kittens offered for sale in retail pet shops or online ads may come from large-scale breeding operations known as mills.

Just like puppies, kittens can come from mills too, so it’s best to connect with a responsible and experienced breeder to ensure that your new kitten is as healthy and well-socialized as possible.

Here are some Persian kitten breeders in the state of Arizona.
