Arashi is an Exotic Shorthair cat who looks like a cross between Lil Bub and Grumpy Cat. He also appears to be the most tolerant cat on the Internet, being that he lives with a Golden Retriever named Oliver who constantly forces him to mug it up for the camera and engage in his many futile shenanigans. Arashi takes all this in his short stride, though, and comes off as proud and dignified while putting up with his live-in pal’s antics.
Here’s a photo introduction to the curious world of Arashi and Oliver, courtesy of their excellent Instagram feed.
One will never find dignity in a chew toy.
Color-coordinating a bow tie with a dog is always a painstaking process.
Coming to the market in 2015: Luxurious dog hair wigs for image-conscious cats. (Comes with free canine.)
True pros are adept at doubling up when it comes to the ancient art of snack balancing.
Matching outfits and matching naps make for a perfect Caturday. Sometimes, you suspect Oliver is not exactly aspiring to play with a full deck.
The Instagram caption reads: “We met a vet today … We got fat again.” Lost in translation wins again!
Oliver never could quite fathom the correct protocol for grocery shopping.
“Who is driving the dog?!”
Happiness is… finally losing Oliver and dreaming of Moomins.
