Persian Kittens For Sale in Virginia: Breeders List 2026

Catster advocates for adopting before shopping, though we fully understand there are many reasons for seeking a breeder. So, we encourage it to be done the right way. We have not personally visited or investigated all of the breeders below. We have put the top-recommended all in one place for you to get in touch and make the best decision for you. Learn more about our stance and how to choose the right breeder here.

It is easy to fall in love with Persian cats due to their adorable fluffiness and docile nature. These dignified cats are affectionate pets that enjoy being lap cats. A show Persian has a flat nose, big eyes, a round head, and a short body with a long, flowing tail. Traditional Persians, known as Doll Faces, don’t have the same squat features as the show cat and have a regular nose. Both types of Persians have long, beautiful coats that come in a variety of patterns and colors.

We’ve compiled a list of reputable breeders in Virginia to help you find the perfect Persian kitten for your family.

The 4 Persian Kitten Breeders in Virginia

1. Art In Motion Persians

📍 Tidewater, VA

Art In Motion is a hobby cattery with all the cats being raised in the home setting. It has been recognized for over a decade as a Cat Fancier’s Association (CFA) Cattery of Excellence due to its exceptional standard of care for its cats. Art In Motion only has a few litters each year due to the small size of their cattery. They screen adopters to find permanent loving homes for their extreme-faced kittens. At 12 weeks, the kittens are seen by a vet and receive a microchip, vaccines, including rabies, and a health certificate. Art In Motion also socializes their cats and begins litter box training.

Prices can vary based on color pattern, gender, bloodline, and conformation. All new owners receive the CFA and/or TICA papers, microchip registration paperwork, health records and certificates, and a week’s supply of food.

2. DesignPurrs

📍 Fairfax, VA

DesignPurrs is a CFA Registered Cattery that breeds Odd-Eyes, Pure Persians (non-Exotic), Pure Exotics (Non-CPC), and Bi-colors in Pure. All cats are bred for show and breeder levels. All cats in the breeding program are genetically tested and are guaranteed to be FeLV, FIV, and PKD negative. DesignPurrs has a nursery webpage for prospective kittens who are still too young to be promised to potential new owners. The kittens are moved to the available webpage when their vaccinations are near complete, and they are available to be matched with a family.

An interview is done with the prospective family, and kittens are held for up to 2 weeks, with the kitten being paid for upon pickup. DesignPurrs prefers emails and text inquiries over phone calls.

3.  Shensilvers

[/su_list] Shensilvers is a CFA registered Cattery that specializes in Shaded Silver and Chinchilla Silver Persians. Their cats are negative for PKD, FeLV, and FIV, and documentation is provided to all new owners. Shensilvers require a $200 refundable deposit to hold your desired kitten until the day you adopt it. Each kitten goes home with sample food, a blue or pink carrier, and instructions for your new kitten.

Kittens are seen by a veterinarian, so new owners will head home with a copy of their kitten’s medical record.

4.  Styln Persians

[/su_list] Styln Persians kittens are tested for FeLV and are Pkd negative. Kittens go home with health certificates documenting deworming and vaccinations administered by a vet.
