The 4 Persian Kitten Breeders in South Carolina

1. Catsparadise

Catsparadise - Exotic & Persian Kittens available in South Carolina

  • Greer, SC

While this hobby breeder doesn’t specialize in Persians, it does occasionally have them. It might be a bit of a slim chance, but no harm checking on what they have available! Catsparadise focuses on producing healthy, active kittens who are PKD negative. If you’re interested in one of their kittens, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire first, as they aim to only place in the best homes. This breeder has several glowing reviews, like this one: “My experience with Cat’s Paradise was excellent. Julie was very conscientious and accommodating.” A bonus of this breeder is that they will deliver kittens to out-of-state parties for an additional fee.

2. Puffstuff Cattery

PuffStuff Cattery of Persians & Exotics

  • Mount Pleasant, SC

Puffstuff is a tiny, cage-free, CFA-registered cattery that breeds Persians CPC, Exotics CPC, Color Point Exotics, and Himalayans. This breeder’s kittens are known for being sweet, playful, and loving. The cats here have tested free of FeLV for years, and the cattery is PKD DNA negative. Kittens cannot be shipped, so be prepared to go and pick them up when ready. Not looking for a kitten? They also have some young adult cats available!

3. L’Wispurrs Persians

L'Wispurrs Persians...Welcome

  • Loris, SC

L’Wispurrs Persians is a CFA cattery of excellence specializing in white Persians. They also have partial colors, dilutes, and solids. The biggest focus of this cattery is breeding kittens who are outstanding in health and personality. Because L’Wispurrs Persians is located in a home, the kittens have free reign and lots of socialization. They only sell to homes that do not use cages and refuse the right to sell for any reason. Kittens are free of PKD, and the cattery requires sold kittens to be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.

4. Pawmetto Persians

Pawmetto Persians

  • Columbia, SC

This small CFA-registered cattery offers purebred Persians that are guaranteed to be FELV/FIV negative. They start socializing their litters from day one and promise you’ll find no sweeter kittens around. In fact, one pet owner said, “Liane was a wonderful breeder and socialized them so that they are the friendliest little kitties we’ve ever had. I would recommend her cattery to anyone who loves cats!!” Another said, “We have had such a wonderful experience with Pawmetto Persians! Lovely people to work with and we absolutely adore our two fur babies. They are gorgeous and so sweet, so glad for these great additions to our family! I would highly recommend PP and if my crazy cat lady trend continues, I will be back for more.”
