The Kong Kitty Kong Cat Toy is a treat dispenser toy designed specifically for cats. The toy was developed to encourage a cat’s natural curiosity and hunting instincts. The Kitty Kong is made of a non-toxic rubber material that causes an unpredictable bouncing action to keep your cat’s interest, encourage exercise, and increase playtime. Your cat will love bouncing the toy all over the room and being rewarded with their favorite kibble, treats, or catnip. The toy can be swatted, rolled, batted, and bounced for hours of fun.

The toy is appropriate for adult cats and kittens alike. Young kittens will be entertained for hours while releasing all their kitty energy.

If you have a cat that is an excessive or strong chewer, you will need to supervise them when you allow them to play with the Kitty Kong. Some reports of cats chewing the toy apart, which can be a choking hazard.

Whether or not the Kong Kitty Kong is good for your cat will depend on their chewing habits. Fortunately, if you decide that it is not a good fit for your cat, Kong does offer a wide range of other toys for your pet.

How It Works

The Kong Kitty Kong is made of lightweight material and is constructed for dispensing treats and encouraging exercise. The rubber material and construction of the toy allow an unpredictable bouncing effect that keeps your cat interested and active. Your cat will love being rewarded for playing when they randomly get their favorite kibble or treats as the toy bounces around the room. The bouncing action allows your cat to engage in their natural hunting instincts too.

When filling the toy with treats, be sure to leave some slack so the treats can easily come out of the opening in the toy. If the Kong is overfilled, the treats can get stuck and frustrate your cat.

In addition to treats and kibble, you can add some catnip to the treat to make the playtime more enjoyable.

Who Is It Good For?

The Kong Kitty Kong treat dispenser is an excellent toy for both kittens and adult cats. The bouncing action, along with the treat rewards, will keep your feline interested and pique their curiosity.

Who Is It Not Good For?

For cats that are strong or excessive chewers, it is recommended that you supervise your feline if they are playing with the Kitty Kong. It is up to the pet owner to decide if the Kitty Kong is a desirable choice for their cat, however.
