Arrival Story:
On October 29, 2002 I was on my way to meet a friend when I saw this kitten, looked to be about 6 weeks old, by the parking lot at my apartment. She looked like a full-breed Siamese and I thought someone at the complex had lost her. I asked around and no one claimed her. I already had 2 cats, which was the limit at this complex, so I put food out for her and the black cat I assumed to be her mom. Over the winter they came to expect me before I left for work and when I came home. They even met me at my door, which was on the 3rd floor! She always followed me when I went to barbeque and my neighbors said "Why don't you take her? She loves you." I told them I had the 2-cat limit already and they said "We won't tell." Being feral she wouldn't let me pick her up, so I set a out to capture her on a Saturday when Petco was doing FEL testing and vaccinating. I put food out by my door for several days before; then when she was eating I scooped her into the carrier and took her to Petco. She was negative so I brought her in; she had fleas so I put Frontline on her and kept her in the bathroom until they were gone.
