Mama got super busy with work and didn't help me with my thank-yous! We had some unusual events yesterday, so I can't even be too mad at her.
Anyway, I really, really thank all of you who sent me p-mails and gifts concatulating me on my diary pick. And a special thank you to Newman who sent a Voki message.
We couldn't get Voki to work for the longest time, but now we upgraded to Windows 7 and it works again! Weird.
Don't leap into upgrading though without checking it out. I read that some cats and humans are having a lot of problems with the upgrade. We didn't know that when we did it, but we were lucky I guess. It worked for us.
Only the power cord won't stay plugged into this computer so it will probably be going in for repair soon. It's always something.
My eulogy to Calvin was picked as a DDP today! Thank you to the Diary gal and to those who have sent concatulations! I'm still reading them so I will edit this diary with more detailed thank yous ASSUMING Mama doesn't let me down on the typing end of things.
Everyone's good friend Calvin has flown to the Rainbow Bridge today and the sky in Texas is crying - it's very rainy.
It was time for him to go and we all have to do that someday, but we never enjoy those days. Because it means leaving friends and family here, and joining those who have already gone before.
It makes you wonder why we can't all be together all at one time, doesn't it? But that's not the way it works.
Calvin was loved as much as any cat or dog I know, and will be missed here, but I know that he's being overwhelmed with greetings on the other side and that makes me feel better. I'm also glad he feels good again because no cat should suffer.
