Arrival Story:
Hunter was a birthday present to myself. I have had cats since I was 11 years old and the Maine Coon breed had always peaked my interest. He gave me 7 short but love filled years. We lost Hunter to a type of bone marrow cancer. He went quickly and hopefully without much pain. There will never be another Pooty in my life, but I will be bringing more Maine Coons into our home. They are the most gentle loving giants of my kitty world. Rest in piece my precious angel boy. Mommy will always keep you in her heart.

Pooty liked it when I sang "You Are My Sunshine" to him if he was upset or worried about something. It always seemed to calm him down. On the way to the vet, evacutating for the Hurricane, pretty much anytime in the car. He was truely "my sunshine".
