I am a fortunate man to have a son who has been Breeding american pit bulls all his life. Noone has to tell me how loving and wonderful a pit bull can be.
I was very fortunate to get a free pup from him. When we learned that my sons pit whose name is Kylee was going to have pups I knew that we had the perfect timing for addition. Roxy Is 8 Weeks old we just got her 2 days ago. When she reach's 4 months of age she will be going with a professional service dog trainer for 3 to 6 months. Bio: Rules in an American Pit Bull Terriers House
I AM THE KEEPER OF THIS HOUSE.
If you come crawling through a window instead of waiting to be invited through the front door you deserve what you will get. I DO NOT SUFFER FOOLS.
I AM THE REAL AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER
I am LOVABLE, SILLY, LOYAL, KIND, CHARMING, FUNNY, CHEEKY, have TONS OF PERSONALITY and CHARACTER and I am MODEST.
Contrary to nasty rumors (probably spread by some overachieving agility dog)
I am NOT STUBBORN, MOODY or HEADSTRONG, lies, all dirty lies.
I AM A SWEETHEART.
It is true I dont like other dogs, but not because my relatives were fighting dogs.
THE TRUTH IS I was supposed to be Lassie and some stupid collie who couldnt act, get the part, eye roll, WHAT AN INSULT. Now I dont like other dogs. I like humans EXCECPT CRIMINALS (to dangerous). POLITICIANS (who need to grandstand) and MEDIA (always want sensational headlines).
If humans are so smart, why do they believe my jaws lock? Or that I dont feel pain? What Stupidity, good grief. I DO SO!
If I dont get my treats on time every single day I FEEL UNBERABLE PAIN.
I walk in FAMOUS FOOTSTEPS. My relatives were owned by two presidents: a cousin sniffed out the biggest cocaine bust in history. (IN YOUR FACE, lassie): another cousin has more titles then any other dog in history: and MY UNCLE PETEY was part of the little rascals.
I AM A VERY GOOD DOG. I welcome visitors, but be warned that EVERYBODY SHOULD EXPECT A COMPLETE BODY SEARCH PERFORMED BY ME MY HOME, MY RULES. Everything here belongs to ME. I own all stuff, toys, balls, sticks bones, socks, remote controls, couches, beds, treats, shoes and humans are MINE. EVERYTHING IS MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE. Well I have been told that 18 months is the adult age for a American Pit Bull Terrier, But she is just a big baby. I can not say enough about Roxy Moxy. She is the most submissive Pit Bull our vet has ever seen and she is truly becoming an ambassador to her breed. I have never been this attached to any animal. Words can not describe the Joy she has brought to our lives. We call her the Squirrel hunting queen.
Roxy is our birthday girl 03-22-2010. Well what a first year, we have seen Roxy go through so many changes and I know now that we will never regret getting an American Pit Bull Terrier. She has stolen our hearts and the hearts of our neighbors. She is so full of affection and gets so excited when meeting new people. Our biggest chore has been teaching her not to jump up on people, Not all people like being licked to death.
She has proven to be very submissive when meeting other dogs and cats for that matter.
And at the same time showing not to mistake her loving playfulness for weakness. Roxy is a very strong dog. Her favorite game is playing keep away, and wrestling with Dad. She loves going to the football field where its fenced in and to run off leash. We live in a city with not one dog park if you can believe it. She loves the water and lying down at dads feet. We have had her sense 8 weeks old. We should have named her Lucky, Because she is so very fortunate to not have suffered as so very very many Pits do.That is why we feel its our Job and Responsibility to make Roxy an Ambassador to her breed.
In two more years she will be wearing a Service Dog Vest, For medical alert, She has learned to pick things up from floor and give them to you, she has learned to turn lights off and on, soon she will be learning how to open and close doors. One more thing, Roxy Is Spoiled Rotten!!!
Well it seems Roxy has found a new game she likes, " Keep Away". She loves to get her toys and dare you to try to get it from her. She has come to a calming point in her wild youth. weighing in at 47 pds of love and affection.
She is just all Love.
Licking you to death is not a problem for her. She Loves the snow, she saw her first snow fall this month and decided that snow is " IN " She just went wild in it. This will be Roxy's last Diary entry until her first Birthday.
