Likes:
Food, snuggling, warm sun, birdwatching, giving me the hairy eye when she wants me to feed her.

Pet-Peeves:
Not having food all the time, trips to the v-e-t, being cold.

Favorite Toy:
Anything with feathers.

Favorite Nap Spot:
My lap, wherever Heloise is snoozing, the round blue and white plush kitty bowl overlooking the patio (this cat bed appears in a lot of pictures).

Favorite Food:
We may have FINALLY found a food that doesn't contain an allergen and make her barf and that she'll actually eat! Royal Canin Special 33 is working so far. Paws crossed!

Skills:
She climbed the walls once. Still have claw marks in the drywall to show for it. She also sits, shakes (gives paw), stands on her hind legs, and spins for cat cookies.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
A friend and I went to a local park for a late summer hike after work. Back at the parking lot after our hike, my friend exclaimed, "Look!" Three stripy kittens were watching us from a wooded area just off the parking lot. We lured the two gray ones out by rustling twigs in the grass, but the brown and black one wouldn't come anywhere near us and ran when we approached her. I took the two gray ones home, fully intending to take them to the humane society (yeah, right), since I already had Heloise and Abelard. I came back to the park with a metal cage and managed to lure the third kitten into it with kitten chow in strategically placed piles. I found another home for the boy kitty, but the girls, now known as Fortuna and Carmina, seem to have moved in permanently.

Bio:
Although she is very shy when it comes to other people, she is very territorial and about goes out of her skin when the neighbor cat appears outside the patio door to say hello. She is also very snuggly and loves to curl up with Heloise. Heloise tolerates this up to a point.
