Arrival Story:
Mommy got me from PetsMart. I was a sad mess! I had been abused. My previous owner had locked me in a closet for five months with no light, no food, and no litter box. Then I got in trouble for pooping on the floor. For entertainment purposes they let the dogs play with me and "fight" with me. I was very scared when I met my mom , my auntie, and grandma. I was hiding in the back of the cage in my litter box. They tell me I was shaking like a leaf when they held me at PetsMart. Grandma tells me I held on to her for dear life. Mommy says it broke her heart to have to give me back and not get to take me right then and there. I was sad that I had to go back into the cage too. I thought I was finally going to get my big break to a nice family. See, I had already been to ANOTHER foster home before that too! It didn't work out so well either. I felt like no one wanted me. They think I was about three years old at that time but no one is for sure how old I was then, me included. I guess it doesn't really matter so much. Finally, the next day, my mommy came and got me. That night she didn't see me because I hid in my box cause I didn't know what was waiting for me at this new house either. I couldn't really trust anyone at this point! (Don't worry, it didn't take me long before I was sleeping at the foot of my new mom's bed or on a chair in her bedroom!)

Bio:
Mommy took me to the vet and I was very sick! I was filthy, covered with all sorts of fleas and stuff. They cleaned out my ears, gave me a bath, gave me IV fluids and antibiotics. When Mommy saw me next she was sure I was the wrong cat! I was the most beautiful Silver Maine Coon Cat she had ever seen! She couldn't believe I was the same cat she gave to the vet tech. She didn't even realize I was a purebred cat! I knew I was always under there, no one had ever given me a chance! I was seriously under weight but I could tell my new mommy was not gonna let this be the case for long! She tried so many kinds of food with me that her fridge looked like a cat food fridge. Finally frustrated because I wouldn't eat my grandma suggested trying some tuna with me, the rest is history! Now I am a healthy 12+ lbs (you should NEVER ask a girl her weight you know!). Because mom later took a job in Minnesota and I don't travel well in cars, I moved in with my Grandma. I am very happy living with her. Or is it that Grandma lives with me in MY house???
