So the other morning, my oldest girl caught me in her bed when she woke up. Me being in her bed is not really news, I like hanging out in her room, after all, it is the closest room to the kitchen. :) But instead of sleeping up by her, I was snuggling with Whitley. She was going to try to get photographic evidence to embarrass me, but I moved before then, demanding my breakfast.
What can I say? That dog is soft and warm. And she defends me from Maurice, who is the bully cat around here. He's twice the size of me. Literally. When the dogs hear him being a bully and jumping on me, they both come running in to break it up. So they are pretty good pals to have, even if it is kind of embarrassing to be caught snuggled up with one.
I tried snugglin' with lil Bear and you know what he do? HE SITTED ON ME!!!
Good for you Jez, everyone needs someone to be their protector at times. You just proved your smart enough to know it. And I'm sure Whitley is happy your sharing your warmth too. Keep snuggling :)
I try to snuggle with dog-guy...but when I have to change positions or leave to get a snack, he gets all bent out of shape...and that means a tiff..and Pipo has to come and beat up the dog-guy with a smacky paw...MOL!!
We don't have a dog to cuddle with but sounds warm : )
Peekie and I don't got no dawg guys neether, so we have to snuggle with each nuther or mama. Havin a dawg might be nice...sumtimes.
Never let them get photographic evidence!! But keep snuggling with your defender. You've got the dogs wrapped around your paw don't you Ms Jezz?! MOL!
No dogs at our house, alas. Mom wants one, but she says it will have to wait until she's retired. I think it would be nice to have a big warm dog to sleep on.
I don't trust dog guys. I don't want one in the house. Aren't they real smelly?
Mine aren't smelly, but I know some are. Dey are little terriers and stay pretty clean - one has allergies so she gets baths every other day and the other one likes water a lot so they stay pretty good smelling.
Da bassets we used to have, well, dey were sweet, but dey was some stinky dogs!
No dogs here either, though the Mama misses her Miss Essie and talks of her occasionally. She says Miss Essie was scared of cats, so maybe she would have been OK - MOL!
