Warm Days and Sunshine NapsJuly 5th 2011 9:11 pm[ View A Comments (13) ] Hope y'all had a good Fourth of July, I had a pretty relaxing day - the humans and the dogs went to go see fireworks, but I just stayed at home and snoozed. I like to sleep out in the sunroom sometimes during the summer. It is really nice and warm in there. But I've gotta be careful and make sure the door doesn't close. Usually though, one of the dogs will sound the alarm if I am stuck out there and want back in. I guess they are good for something besides making a whole lotta barky racket. Sometimes, anyway. Most the time it is usually just yapping non-stop. Hope y'all are having some nice sunshiney summer days!
Oh Jez that sounds like the purrfurrect way to spend the fourth, the dogs kinda sound like fun, I never lived with one, but my aunt dog used to come and visit ( she is at the bridge now) and she could make some barky racket. Your sunroom sounds perfect, Jez! I have to follow the sun from room to room. Sounds like a great weekend. We couldn't nap as much as we would have liked..it was too noisy with all those fireworks! That sounds like a purrfect way to spend the weekend! We're having nice warm weather here, too. I's wish we's had a sun room that would be Pawsome!! Glad yous enjoying your summer!! it be H.O.T. here two jez but we canna say we likes it coz oh de humid it a tee....blah...trout iznt even swimmin in this kinda heatz !!! haza pawsum day :) Glad you had a nice weekend...sounds like you enjoy spending time in the sunroom. It's been hot here also. I enjoy laying in the kitchen chair...that is my favorite spot, because I'm right by mom all the time. I used to sleep in the big bay window in Grandma and Grandpas house back in the day. Oh it felt good. That sunshine feels good on those old bones doesn't it. Oh I know all about it Minko because I would love to get to go out back. A couple years ago, momma let me figuring I was too old to try to climb the fence - well she was wrong and I was up on that fence quick. So no trips outside for me, not with the coyotes and fast drivers around here. The sunroom is a pretty nice substitute though. |
