Arrival Story:
I picked Gizzy's mom, Geisha from the litter the day she was born. When she was old enough to take her home, we were so happy because she was the prettiest little kitten, and feisty too! By the time we took her to get her fixed, the vet told us she was pregnant.
Geisha had two kittens, one little orange male, and one fluffy gray female.
We planned to keep the little orange male who we named Kilo and find a good home for the female who we named "Kizzy" but as they got older, it became apparent that "Kizzy" was a big ball of fur and somehow got renamed "Gizmo" because she so resembled that adorable little Gremlin. One of my friends adopted Kilo and although we were sad to see him go, we knew he was going to a happy home.
As gizzy got older, she kept her thick fluffy fur and her tail bushed out like a squirells! She is so affectionate and likes nothing better than to curl up on your lap for some attention.
Gizzy was joined in October by her sister Kiyah, a boxer mix we got from the pound. They like to chase each other around which is really funny to watch since Gizzy is so tiny and Kiyah so big. But Gizzy doesn't back down and usually ends up chasing the dog!
