Arrival Story:
I was in PetSmart for cat food and I saw kittens in the adoption area getting some play time. I usually don't bother anyone back there, but something made me knock on the door. I love all gray cats and there was a litter of four. So I put my application in right then and there. When it was time to pick him up I had to choose one of the three males. They all looked alike! A very nice couple was there who were adopting two of them. The adopter asked if I could take the last one and I couldn't because of financial restrictions. So the couple took all three! When she handed me the first kitten I knew that was the one I wanted. But, the couple had first pick. They already knew they wanted the little girl and then they said the one with the most white. I said a prayer to St. Francis knowing he would give me the one right for my family of boys. Well, he wasn't the one they were looking for and I got to keep my first pick!!!! I named him Harvey after the Jimmy Stewart movie!!! It's funny because his name was Thumper in the adoption papers, so he was named after a rabbit twice!
