When we became homeowners, we decided to treat ourselves to the one and only naturally-spotted purebred cat - the Egyptian Mau! We found a breeder a few hours from Seattle and went down to pick out our baby. Six weeks later, he came home with us and we've been so happy ever since. He's a true delight, the most wonderful kitty I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
Bio:
Aker is pronounced "aah-CARE". His name comes from Egypt, where Aker is a cat-headed god who guards the gates the sun passes through at dawn and dusk. He answers to his name and it fits him just perfectly.
