Arrival Story:
Bella found us one rainy October night in 2003. Our senior kitty, Bud (RIP 11-08-03) must have invited her inside to warm up. Bella was teeny-tiny, still a kitten. We let her in for a few hours and then sent her on her way, thinking she belonged to someone in the neighborhood. But the next day she came back. We asked around the neighborhood, but nobody claimed her, so we decided she would stay with us for good. We left for a 10 day trip to New York City that December and we were devestated because just before we left she escaped. We thought she may be gone for good. We searched for her for 3 days and put flyers around the neighborhood to no avail. We had the neighbor we had asked to pet sit check in on our place in case Bella came back. Thankfully, two days into our New York trip we got a call that our mischevious black kitten had returned! She has been with us ever since...
