What's so bad about it?

I have been reading the polls and thought I would comment. This most recent poll asks about how we furs feel about clothes. Now I would fully expect many kitties to object, but why so much negativity about it? I purrsonally love getting all dressed up because it means I get lots of attention from meowmy. I love attention! I guess I am an unusual kitty because when I hear the drawer with clothes in it open up, I run over to it. I know that I have fur and am plenty warm enough. It's all just another way to enjoy spending time with us furs, so why are so many opposed to even trying?

I often hear the acronym "TCAR" in a certain chat room where my Meowmy frequents. It means "That Cat Ain't Right." I guess I live up to that, because I enjoy my clothes time with meowmy.

Well.. I'm going to go cuddle with Meowmy.

New digs

I know there are a lot of kitties out there who refuse to be dressed up by their humans, but I am sort of liking it. I get all sorts of extra love and attention from Meowmy. (As if I don't get enough love from her.) I enjoy it so much that I just lay there and let her do whatever she needs to do. I even let her put stuff on my legs. She put some sparkly bands on this last time and it looked really cool! It may seem like total foolishness to some kitties out there, but I get special time with Meowmy and I look awesome, too.

Want!

I like a good taste of human food and Meowmy has some that I really like. It's called cereal! Most of the other kitties are pretty good about staying away while Meowmy eats, but I just can't resist!! I keep trying to stick my nose it and get a sip of that delicious milk and crunchy noms. I don't like the noms as much as the milk, though. Apparently the crunchy bits aren't something I am supposed to like at all. I just had a rice krispie and it tasted pretty good. I think I like the bran flakes better, though. The raisins, I leave for Meowmy. Back to my story, though. I got in trouble because I was trying to get a bite before she put the bowl on the floor for us. We are supposed to wait, but I just couldn't!

Well.. I need to go love up to her and see what else I can get away with.

Nosey me

Ever heard the old cliche "curiosity killed the cat?" Well.. curiosity killed.. my sense of smell! At least, it would seem that sniffing my own poo must have burned my smellers or something. I get really close when I am going in to analyze. You see, I treat it almost as a wine tasting. I don't taste, but I do give it a good sniff. The problem I have is that when I go in that close, I end up with litter stuck on my nose. You might think that's all fine and dandy. Just lick your nose, right? I can't get it all off, though. I've tried. I end up with this gray layer on the fur just above where the top of my nose ends. It's almost like gray lipstick for my nose. I've done this many times. It's almost a daily thing. Meowmy has started gathering evidence. Here's some of the evidence. It's not much, but I'm in trouble. I know she's going to get more evidence out there. Maybe her catputer will crash?

Giddyup!

I was getting bored lying around the house. Meowmy wasn't always able to play fetch with me. So... I decided to do something. Meowmy was bent over working on the poopyboxes. I noticed that she had a perfect platform... for me to sit upon! I climbed right onto her back. I just sat there for a while. She was done with the poopybox she was working on, but shecouldn't stand up. ha ha! She had to move to the other room to get the other poopyboxes, but I wouldn't get off. She ended up walking all the way bent over, like my own personal jack... uh... pony. Since she was such a good little pony, I have started clambering on more often. Now I get on almost every day. Can humans wear saddles?

Special claws

I mentioned before that I would like to have Hancock's claws so I could cut through glass. Now I need them for something else. Traction! I'm having traction issues. I was running through the dining room and kitchen. Meowmy was standing just to the side of where I wanted to go. The problem was, I wasn't able to go where I was trying to. I went sliding. I wasn't able to get my footing until I reached something I could sink my claws into. The problem was... the first thing I was able to sink my claws into was meowmy's foot. I tried not to dig too deep, but I couldn't help it. Meowmy didn't get mad at me because she knew I didn't mean to do it. I think I had Hancock's claws, I could get traction on the linoleum and not slide anymore.

Now... I just need to figure out how to fly out to his trailer on the mountain.

What, Mom? What do you mean it's just TV. If it's on TV, it has to be real!

I want Hancock's claws!

Have you kitties seen a human TV movie called Hancock? Meowmy was watching it the other day. I didn't find it very entertaining, but then, I'm a cat. I did see something I wish I could do. He took his claws and cut a hole in the window he was at.

This would come in handy in a couple of ways. First of all, I can get out of the crate when Meowmy goes to take me to that awful Vetty Crueler. What mom?? It's Freddy Krueger? Our vet is named Freddy Krueger? No? But that makes no sense? Wow mom.. you're catfusing.. Anyway, back to my story.

But I would love to have it for days like this when the moths are out in full force. They have been coming to the window and trying to get in. I think they must want to be eaten, because that is all that can possibly happen in here. I'd love to just cut a hole in the window and let them all in.

I mean.. after all.. wouldn't that serve two purposes? First, to help the moths out and give them what they want. And second, to give me a high protein snack!

What IS that smell?

I don't know what the deal is with Meowmy. Sometimes she puts on some really nasty stuff that smells really bad. It burns my nose! When she puts it on, I just have to stay away! It's stuff called "Biofreeze" or "IcyHot" and it is nasty! I wish she would stop using it!

I love boxes!

I just wanted to share how I feel about boxes. I love them. I absolutely love them! Meowmy gets some drinks and they come in a box. I can barely fit in the box, but it is great to play in!! I love to fit my whole body in there and then try to catch things that wander by. Meowmy got a new coffee maker and that is absolutely the greatest box ever! She cut a hole in it for me. It's almost like a castle!

The fancy litterbox.

I don't understand something. Why do the humans get a fancy litterbox, and I have to use dirt? I mean.. yes.. dirt is what most cats use, but I deserve so much more! The human litterbox actually does something. I haven't quite figured out how they do it, but after they use the litterbox, it swirls down and the piddle and poo disappears! Then, it's perfectly clean and ready to drink out of! That is just so cool! I find it totally enthralling. I don't know what that means, but Meowmy says I'm totally enthralled by it. I guess I'll have to stick with dirt for a while.
