indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story: He was Sadie's littermate, so that's part of her story. (That's Sadie with Tigger)

Bio: Caesar was my acrobatic kitty. We lived in a 3rd story apartment with a huge deck. We had a plank on the deck on day, reaching out far from the deck ...and he decided to play Peter Pan behind out back. Next thing you know, the plank is gone, he's gone, and we went running....the plank was stuck in the dirt, and Caes had a dirt smudge on his nose. Next adventure was flying out the 2nd story bedroom window on the window screen - he pretended to be Aladdin on his magic carpet. The screen ended in the tree, Caes on the ground with a smudge on his nose again.
Oh, but his first adventure was with Christmas tree lights....my husband and my cousin were stringing the lights on the Christmas tree, and suddenly the lights they were holding went out. They looked back toward the plug and saw one white kitten batting at his nose and whiskers.... He never tried that trick again.
It's been almost 6 years since Caes died in my arms...we think he had a brain tumor...and I miss him so much. He was my gardening kitty, always my shadow when I worked in the garden. I'd come out of the garden completely filthy, and his fur was still sparkling white. Anything that got on his coat simply fell off as he walked. Like a ragdoll's fur! Softer than soft. He was my sparkling white boy. The white on Sadie is the same soft soft white of his fur. When we buried him, I planted a Gourmet Popcorn miniature rose bush over him...our own little joke between Caes and me : )
