Arrival Story: Aziza was part of a litter of "little hissers" rescued from a local shelter. I took the four tortie girls to tame and get ready for adoption. The litter was nicknamed the "Tortie Town Town Council". Aziza was very shy and didn't want anyone to touch her for 3 or 4 months. The turning point came when my parents came to visit and Mom took a shine to Aziza. And Aziza apparently liked her too. Mom said she always seemed to jump up on something when Mom walked by--like she wanted to be held. Mom happily obliged her. Soon she decided she wanted to be a lap cat and started crawling into my lap at night. Aziza kept going to adopt-a-pets but wasn't adopted. Finally as Timah became sicker and sicker, I decided I couldn't lose him and lose her to adoption at the same time. So I adopted her.
Bio: Aziza loves the tiny baby kittens that I foster. She washes them, cuddles with them and teaches them (and not always what I want them to know).
