Arrival Story:
I was walking home from work on July 3 and saw a bus boy outside a restaurant holding a mewing kitten who seemed terrified. He let me hold her then take her home with me. I had planned to give her to the animal shelter/pet store, but the "inn had no space", and they recommended I fostercare her. I brought her to the hospital to get checked out and we quarantined her in our tiny apartment for a few days, away from our other cat, Max. But they seemed interested in each other and got on very well once we lifted the quarantine -- and after Max chased her around the house and sat on her -- so we kept her.
