Happy Monday!

Just wanted to wish efurryone a happy Monday! Think about it, friends...we are really lucky to be cats. Lots of our meowmies and paw-paws have to start a week at work, or a week of working at home taking care of our human brothers and sisters...hard work either way! That's why lots of humans are grouchy on Mondays. But for us cats, we are starting another week of relaxation, of sitting in front of the air conditioner, looking outside at the birdies, and looking forward to our next bowl of food. Phew! I'm so happy I'm a cat!!

Furr--riday!!

Hey y'all! Happy Furr-iday! I always like Fridays because I know I can look forward to getting lots of attention the next two days. Paw-Paw has been busy building a house on the weekends so he doesn't get to spend as much time with me as he used to, but thankfully Meowmy is still around to lavish attention on me for two full days! Even though I am a big manly male cat, I will usually indulge Meowmy by sitting with her for hours on end watching Lifetime Television for Women.

And this Friday I'm especially happy because we just got some good news! Paw-Paw told Meowmy and me that we are probably going to get to move to our new house in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait! It's going to be in a place called Leicester, in the country, with plenty of land, a whole wall of windows, and my very own bedroom with built-in kitty condos!! Also, since we'll have more space, Paw-Paw says Meowmy can finally go ahead with adopting a friend for me so I can have someone to play with when they go to work. We have our eyes on a male Siamese called Scabs/ aka Paws who currently lives at the Texas Siamese Rescue Center. The nice folks at the Center tell us they can fly our new friend to us, all we have to do is go to Charlotte and pick him up at the airport! I can't wait to move to my new home and really can't wait to meet my new adopted brother!
