Happy Birthday to ME!

First of all, in Hawaii it's a tradition for someone's 1st Birthday to be a luau. Hence, the aloha shirts Mommy made Miko and I wear. Sneaky Sebastian didn't have to. Boo! He's such a baby! So, back to me...

Where are the presents? I know you're hiding them! Hehe. Just kidding! About the present part of course! Mommy and Daddy threw a fantasmic party. Party up in hea! Whoot! Whoot! Savanah, Chia, Roxy, Timba, Mia, Roxy and Keiko all came from Nana's house to help me celebrate too. Mommy made me a cake from fresh ahi (with a cookie cutter). I practically inhaled it! Mmmmmm, it sure was tasty!

I got a present from Dr. Beth and Dr. Aaron. They gave me a 6 month supply (1 case = 12 cans) of Pit'r Pat Breath Mints. My ultimate favorite treat! From Nana (Grandma) I got a new scratch mat and a bag of catnip. Savanah gave me a brand new pack of mylar balls. Roxy, Chia and Mia gave me a new Boogie Mat with extra bags of catnip. Miko gave me a feather wand and Sebastian gave me a pack of stuffed catnip toys. Mommy got me the Booda Play Gym and Daddy is building me a new cat tree. The cat tree is actually a present for Miko and I since we both have birthdays this month. It's okay, I don't mind sharing. Sharing is caring right? Well, it's been a fun but long day so I'm going to take a well deserved nap.

I hate hats!

I can handle shirts and outfits, but I cross the line at hats. Mommy got me an aloha print hat and boy do I hate it! I don't feel too bad because Miko got one too (he just freezes up when mommy puts it on..haha!). Sebastain on the other hand, got lucky this time. Mommy couldn't find a hat in his size. It was either too small or too big. Damn the man! Well, at least she got my color (red) so it matches my carrier. Excuse me while I try to destroy my hat...

Ain't nothin' gonna hold me down!

So my eye has been getting inflamed off and on for a few weeks now. I've been to the vet at least 3 times within the past month! Ah! Anyway, Dr. Beth told mommy that I have Herpes, which is an incurable disease. Needless to say, I have to take Lysine pills every day...for the rest of my life. So far the pills and eye ointments have kept any outbreaks from re-happening. But just in case I get another outbreak, mommy has some special eye solution that I have to use. But hey, none of this has held be back! I'm still super hyper and oh so loveable!

Weee everyone! Excuse the excitement, I just recovered from a URI and a little poop problem! It turns out that I still had wormies that weren't caught during my previous vet visits. It sucked because my poop was all gross and...dare I say, runny. Mommy added some pumpkin (squash baby food) to my food to make my poop firm. I hesitated at first, but now I LOVE pumpkin in my food. It's so yummy! The only thing I didn't like about being sick is that I couldn't play with the other kitties. Miko & I were confined to our house and couldn't visit Savanah and the others at their house. *insert sad face* Now everything is back to normal and I can wrestle again! Yay!

Well, I think it's past my bedtime so I better get going. Purr ya later!

Whoo hoo!

Yay! Miko and I got a new little house/bed yesterday. It's blue with white paws all over it. We use it as our "play house" during the day. But when it's night time, Miko kicks me out so he can sleep in there. I tried to sneak in there, but he wouldn't let me. He needs to learn how to share. Pshh...like that's gonna happen! Oh! We got our stockings today. I saw mommy filling them with toys and treats this morning. She thought I was sleeping, but I hear and see all! She hung them pretty high up so I can't get them even if I wanted to. Hopefully she put some mylar balls in there. I love those crunchy things! Oh...wait...I think I hear one crunching. I'm outta here!

Oh, how they adore me...

It's been 4 days since I got neutered and micro-chipped. Everyone at the vet office kept giving me kitty kisses! Oh how I love kitty kisses! I purred the entire time. That was, until I was knocked out by the "special stuff". When I woke up, my kitty manhood was GONE! And 1/4 of my leg was shaved! I looked like a poodle! I was too drugged up to say anything so I just sat in my kennel until it was time to go home.

Meanwhile, Miss Donna and Dr. Kara were having too much fun with my carrier. When it was time to go home, everyone kept wanting photos of me. I mean, I know I'm cute and all, but come on! I just had surgery! *sigh* The life of a cutie is so demanding. Well, it's a short entry, but I have a lot of things to do tonight. First being, a scavenger hunt around the Christmas tree (or maybe even IN it). Wish me luck!

YAY!...or Nay?

Whoo hooo! My first real photo shoot! That was SO much fun! I think I'm a natural. I just followed Miko and did the poses he did. He's a professional...or at least he tells himself that. Pshh...he's so egotistical!

Hmm, so I finally got my pirate carrier! It's really roomy and quite comfy. I've made it into my little house, but I think mommy will put an end to that soon. Why? Because of Miko! He tries to jump into MY carrier and act like he owns it. I keep telling him he'll get his own carrier, but he just won't listen. Argh! I give up! I'm off for one last nap in my carrier...nap ya later!
