TROUBLE THE GREAT

I HAD A GREAT LIFE WITH MY HUMANS...

My name is / was TROUBLE. At first, my human didn't call me anything, tho when she adopted me from the shelter, my name was NUTMEG. THAT just wouldn't do, nope, not for a five month old baby who didn't know anything but living in a cage...

Connie, my human mom, said that I would have to "name myself." At first, she said I had named myself MISSCHIEF, but after I climbed up her brand new curtains and shredded them whle coming down, somehow the name TROUBLE started to be used more and more.... and, well, I guess I WAS a bit of trouble ... but also purred a lot, would play with my brother, who was wise and was therefor named SAGE, and the two of us ALWAYS slept near Connies head, and would suck on her hair to go to sleep. To tell you the truth, I did this until just before I crossed over the RAINBOW BRIDGE , the day after Thanksgiving in 2006. I had a wonderful 17+ years with my human, and my brother (tho he died 8 yrs earlier than I did), and although I know Connie still cries because I'm not with her, I'm with my brother, and OH, we are GREAT MOUSERS, and now can get all the mice we want!!
