Arrival Story:
This lovable guy came in from the cold last winter. No collar and he was hungry. He was such a good eater he started to get large and I thought he was a she and pregnant. I advertised twice about him (no responses), and asked neighbors if they knew who he belonged to, (no luck). I also took him to the Vet- no micro-chip and he is a boy, not pregnant, but was already neutered, and feline leukemia negative. He is very healthy. I waited a few months (during above advertising), and now he has all his shots. I can't keep him because I already have alot of cats. He has been wonderfully well-behaved and unassuming, very relaxed, no fighting with the three other cats he is with. When the other three start to misbehave a little with a little hiss/spat or getting up somewhere they shouldn't, he looks at them surprised. He's been a nice calming influence in the house. He likes to hop up and sit in your lap at least once a day, but is not clingy. His main employments are playing and "making biscuits", which he'll do by you before he settles in your lap or at the other various places he naps. He does not seem to want to play all the time, but if something like a string goes across the floor, he'll pounce on it like lightning, and if you want to play, he likes to. He plays with the youngest cat here. They sometimes do chase/galloping back and forth. His personality and appearance seem to indicate he may be part British Shorthair or Russian Blue. The Vet thought he was part some breed, by his facial structure and that his fur is short and thick, like a chinchilla's. His gray coat looks silvery with the light. His green eyes are unique in that sometimes they are gold. I'm hoping for a good furever home for this good-natured fella.
