Arrival Story:
Gus was found by my late Blink. It was a very cold night and Blink found Gus outside and brought me to him. He was very small about 3-4 weeks old and staving to death. Flea ridden and you could count his ribs. I picked him up and brought him inside (with Blink following) we feed him a little food every couple of hours and the next day took him to the vet. He weight 320grams and was smaller than my hand. He was checked out by the vet then was flea, wormed and taken back home to play with Blink. The next night was a very cold night, he wouldn't have made it. He was going to go live with my Mum but after he bonded with both Blink and me he became my second child.

Bio:
Sadly his adopted cat mum passed to the Rainbow Bridge leaving Gus and myself broken hearted. Everytime we go to the vet for check up they love to see him. He's a favorite of theres. They think he's a mild mannered boy... If only they knew the truth

But this time i help from Bobcat... I decided he wasn't allowed to come inside to eat so chased him out. That's when it happened. I might not have been me but Bob that did it but it's now broken... So it's now the third time mums had to replace the door and she's already had to replace the whole door at one stage too... I really don't know how i broke that! meow

It's a sad day

My mummy and I are both very sad today. The lovely Emily is going to the bridge. It's breaking our hearts to know how sad Emily's mum, dad and fur brother will be
I know that Blink will be there waiting for her and Marmaduke too. He went through the same thing.
It's just a sad sad day. I'll make sure i cuddle hard into mum tonight. I think she's going to need it (and maybe i do too)

I had a Visitor

Well i'm a little put out!

I just have to let you all know! I had a visitor today and it wasn't a welcome one! The kitten from down the road throught it might walk in thur the doors into the kitchen and aim straight at my eating bowls! Wow i can tell you all i was angry.
I started my mean cat howl. It starts at the back of my throat and slowly builds up. Grrhhhhhhhhhhh..... Mum was in the kitchen loading up the dishwasher and was wondering what an earth was wrong with me.
Until she looked over to see this grey kitten. I think if mum could have she would have feed it but it ran away when it saw her. (i was most pleased by that) She feels sorry for the cats down the road. The people don't look after them properly and don't spray or neuter them. She already feeds Bob from a previous litter there. Had him neutered. Looks like she might have to catch another one and do the same.
I of coarse do not want any other kitty living in my house. I've told mum this over and over again since Blink died. I think she'd like another one but doesn't want me to be upset.
Anyway i'm now guarding the cat flap. There is no way grey kitty is going to get in while mum's not home.
Love to all
Gus (the Brave)
