She loved her brother, Sammie. She liked being brushed and being outside.

Bob. She didn't like it when you turned her over on her back and messed with her tummy. She didn't like to have walnuts lobbed at her.

Favorite Toy:
She kind of liked those little furry mice, but not much. More of an "out doorsy, nature" kind of girl.

Favorite Nap Spot:
next to Sammie in the big dog bed.

Favorite Food:
fresh mice

skilled use of razor-like claws. Critter was a cutie pie with a chubby round face & pretty green eyes.

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
Critter was born in the garage. Her real mama's name was Tinia. Tinia was a wild cat. There was a big mean dog named Darryl who tried to eat Critter & her littermates all the time, but she was crafty & survived.

Critter & her brother (& best friend) Sammie lived outside. When Daddy & new Mommy got married and moved into Critter's house, Critter & Sammie started living inside part of the time. They were kind of scared at first, but got used to it easily enough. New Mommy added a new cat to the picture. Her name was Katie. Critter & Sammie were nice to her because she was very old and didn't have her toenails. When Bob Balooga moved in, however, that was completely different. Critter HATED Bobby till the day she died. Critter went to the Rainbow Bridge on 05/10/1999 at 13 years of age.

Critter would wait patiently for me to get up to feed her, most of the time. If she got too hungry she would resort to devious methods of waking me up. Sometimes she licked my eyelids. Once, she chewed on my fingernails. She & Sammie would wait in the hall bathroom, sitting side by side. As soon as I stepped out the bedroom door they tore out and ran downstairs for breakfast.

She had the prettiest green eyes. She did NOT like to be on her back or have you touch her tummy. She'd lay there with her toenails sticking out, ready to attack, growling...she never fought us, but she made her displeasure known.
