A Kippy Story

On October 1st we said we were going to put Eclipse to sleep. We called the vet on the 2nd and he said Eclipse couldn't get in until the next day. That night, since the youngest boy in our family knew it would be the last time he saw Eclipse, he said "Goodnight and goodbye" to Eclipse. I guess that was all Eclipse needed. That was what he was staying alive for. Overnight, he went over the bridge. We found him the next morning, under the table downstairs covered with the towel we had found for him that last night. We buried him that morning. Next to Lunar under a honeysuckle bush. We also had 5 rats for pets. (It sounds odd but they are very clean and smart.) They were buried under there also. He has a gravestone and everything.

It's been 25 days.

Well Kippy, it's been 25 days since you went over the bridge. I still miss you. Around once each week I have a dream in which you and Lunar are together in our home. I hope you're having fun up there with Lunar and all the other pups and kitties!

I got my wings today! Now I can fly home and see my pawents! WOOHOO! It's fun to fly! Thank you Puppie!

I just woke up, got on Catster and saw I had the featured cat diary! I feel very honored! Thanks Catster HQ!

My Dream

I feel much better today for some reason. Well, anyways, I had the weirdest dream last night, I fell asleep and I saw this rainbow-like bridge and it was on a sunny day in late spring and there was lush, green grass under my feet. (Which I hadn't felt in a while!) I walked around and I saw plenty of cats and dogs, but I didn't see Oreo or Squash! I tried my best to find them yet no cigar. Another cat walked up to me though, her name was Camille and she said I was at the Rainbow Bridge. I was very confused! She showed me around and told me about what happened. She also said I could watch over my family anytime. I also found LUNAR! My awesome real sister! Yet there is still a void waiting to be filled.

It's About Time

This is Eclipse's Diary but I'm gonna use it for this entry because he doesn't feel good at all. As you all know Eclipse has been fighting and nevertheless losing a battle with cancer. We think it's time to let Eclipse go over the bridge. He is just skin and bones, he can barely walk at all, he doesn't eat, I saw him drink some times but that's it. Tomorrow he will be at the vet, this will be his last night here. I will post a last picture of him on his page before he goes. Thank you for everyone's continued support but we are letting him go. We love and and will miss him.

WHAT!?

Wait, what? I have what? WHAT!? Cancer? Bladder cancer? Six months!? That's no good, wait, that explain why my lower stomach hurts all the time. Still... No, Oh no... Oh no...
Well, I guess in the next six months I have until I waltz over the bridge I have to do anything and everything I can and want to do... This will be fun but at the same time it will be terrible for my pawents and me. *sad sigh*

My Birthday

My Birthday was a few days ago, I had a good one.
I slept, I got a bag of kitty treats just for me... it was nice.
The only bad thing was that a few people in my family were gone for the 4th of July on vacation, but my meowma and pawpa were here.
