indoors Arrival Story: I was looking for a cat to adopt, and my husband wanted a young baby kitten because our Buttercup was half-grown when we got her. I was on Petfinder looking for shelter cats, and found that an all-feline veterinary practice in town had kittens for adoption--and that they closed in 45 minutes! I rushed over to the clinic, and 14-week-old Penny was in a kennel in the waiting area. She was meowing and climbing the bars. When the clinic staff placed her in my hands, she began to purr and lick my thumb. I was in love! She spent her entire first evening at home chasing a toy around the living room.
