Dear Diary,
Mom had to take me to the doctor again this weekend. I was having trouble tinkling in the litter box. I thought it was really wierd that on Saturday, there was no litter in the box. Maybe Mom forgot or something. Whatever, I went anyway. But then Mom got really excited - dude, it was just pee for pete's sake. But she poured it in a jar and ran out the door with it. People are SO weird.
Turns out, there were crystals and some blood in that jar she took - which I later found out - to the vet. So she packed me up in my carrying cage and off we went to the doctor. I hate that place. All the dogs barking make me nervous, plus, something always hurts. Bleck.
I had an x-ray. I had to be really still, which was REALLY hard. Then they combed me - I was so scared, I let them. (Usually, I bite Mom when she tries.)
The doc told Mom that there weren't any kidney stones, which was a good thing as far as I could tell. However, the doc also said that I had to start drinking more water and eat this prescription food. (Mom was a little shell-shocked at the more than $1 per can cost. I think it's nummy!)
Except now I have to eat this cat food mixed with water and some tuna-flavored glucosamine powder. Umm, it doesn't taste like tuna. Could one of you people tell the company that? I can't use the phone yet.
I'm not sold yet on this food soup thing, but I eat it anyway because Mom said it was this or nothing. I heard the vet say Mom could try and give me tuna juice. I keep waiting for that, so far, nothing. :( Mom says she has to go to something called the "store" to get it.
Well, it's time for a nap on Mom's bed. I'll keep you updated.

My mom packed me in the truck with all the presents and hauled me off to her parents' house. Normally, I'm pretty good in the car, but this time, I was so scared! I don't think Mom will be taking me anywhere in the car anytime soon. I sat on her lap the whole time!
While everyone else was sleeping on Christmas Eve, I was up waiting for Santa. I sleep all day, so it wasn't so hard to stay awake. He patted me on my head and scratched my chin - I love his red suit. He gave me some treats, and I told him to say "hi" to the reindeer for me.
Now that Christmas is over, I'll be missing that big tree in the living room. It's a great place to hide and nap.
Paws,
