Darn, I'm not the only kitty anymore!!

I had a brother, Oscar, for about 12 years. I tolerated him ok but for the most part I picked on him. He died in August and that really didn't phase me at all. I thought it was about time I was the only kitty!!!

But now there is this strange little girl kitten in my house!!! She has been here, blocked off in the music room, for almost two weeks now. I saw her a couple times through a crack in the door and HISSED, but she didn't leave, the little buggar!!!

Yesterday mom put the kitten in a crate in the kitchen, and put me in the kitchen. All I have to say to that is, the kitten looks weird but the chicken I was fed tasted great!!!

Now today, mom put the kitten in a crate AGAIN, only this time she expected me to eat my food with her near me. I could feel her looking at me. I tried to eat my food, but I looked at her and she was eating her own food. I wasn't convinced though, I think she wants my food too. So I got outta there without finishing my meal.

After mom put the little invader back in the music room, I went back and finished my meal. Mom has been telling me that the little girl won't hurt me and that she wants her to live with us like Oscar did. So, I'm doing my best, but I'm still not sure about this whole situation.
