Bio: I met my loving mom and dad at the Petsmart by our house when I was just 8 weeks old! My meowmy had been wanting to adopt another kitty but was waiting to find the purrfect one! And she did :o) The first time she saw me, she said she fell in love! You see, I'm very cute...I've got golden colored eyes and a white "O" on both of my sides >^.^< Anymew, Mom and Dad quickly put a deposit down and came back the next day to adopt me! I was so happy that I purred all the way home. I've done very well at my new furrever home, and I love my new family!

"LONDON (Reuters) - A couple have been reunited with their missing cat after nine years, the RSPCA said on Wednesday.
Dixie, a 15-year-old ginger cat, disappeared in 1999 and her owners thought she had been killed by a car.
She was found less than half a mile from her home in Birmingham after a concerned resident rang the animal charity to report a thin and dishevelled cat who had been in the area for a couple of months.
RSPCA Animal Collection Officer Alan Pittaway checked her microchip and confirmed it was Dixie. She was returned to her owners, Alan and Gilly Delaney, within half an hour.
"In 29 years of working for the RSPCA I have never seen anyone so excited and happy as Mrs Delaney," Pittaway said. "It made my day to return Dixie to her owners."
The couple were "overjoyed" to be reunited with their missing cat after so many years.
"Dixie's personality, behaviour and little mannerisms have not changed at all," said Gilly Delaney. "We don't think she has stopped purring since she came back through the door."
The RSPCA hope the story will encourage owners to have their pets microchipped."

This was such a wonderpurr story--I just had to share it :o)
Tonight, I'll be purring real loud for all the lost kitties out there. I hope each of you return home safely (and soon!).
I have some wonderful news to share with you all... I have a new baby cousin! Baby Isabelle was born on Monday, July 28th to Pawpaw's brother's wife and she's gorgeous! We're all so excited--I've even posted a few picfurs in mom's Photobucket album:

(Pawlease excuse the quality, they were taken with a cell phone)
Yep, mom and dad are officially an aunt & uncle for the very first time :o)
In other news, I am going to be one year old this Friday, August 1st! I am very excited and I even wrote a birthday wish list. It includes a new container of catnip, new feather toys, more play mice and jingle balls, a case of Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys, and an adventure outdoors with my pawrents. I bet I'll get all of this and more...I've got my humans wrapped around my furry orange paw!
My birthday is going to be sort of bittersweet for meowmy. It will mark the day when I'm no longer a "kitten". Meowmies are silly like that, I suppose, and she'll get over it. She just misses how tiny and cuddly I was when I was a baby--I'm sure you other meowmies (and daddies!) know how she feels. Oh well, I just can't wait for fresh catnip!
