Arrival Story: Linus comes from the cattery Kittentanz located near Atlanta, GA.
Simon passed away Dec. 20 and our family loved him so much that we had to get a new baby right away.
Our family drove down to look at another kitten located there. Fortunately, a family planning to purchase Linus backed out and when we arrived we knew almost immediately Linus was the one.
We are so happy with him and he certainly seems perfectly content with us!

Hello everyone,
This is Jessica. I haven't written an entry for Linus in quite awhile so I though I would make one now and give you all an update. Linus is healthy and as rambunctious as ever. His First birthday is coming up on the 27th. We're still having problems though. He is just not as calm, loving, and laid back as Simon was. I think growing up in a cattery has something to do with his odd personality. He didn't spend enough time with his mother/other humans. He tends to be very aggressive (biting, growling, hissing). It gets pretty annoying actually. And then other times he is sweet-but very seldom. Maybe he has a psychological problem (ha!). Anyways, I guess I'll keep working with him. I've been sad today because of this-missing Simon so much it makes me cry. I never thought I would feel so much for one little animal. God is so wonderful to place certain pets into our lives-he knows when we need them I suppose.
Maybe Linus will mellow out in afew years (but I doubt it-I'm just trying to show some optimism here).

Hello everybody,
It's Linus again. I'd like to make the announcement that my half birthday was January 27th. Moma says I'm very small for my age and that I'm very different from their last Siamese-who was fat. Although I am getting a fat little tummy (aka the "fat sack") like Simon had.
The family likes me pretty well. I have been being a good kitty...besides the wild hairs I get sometimes that cause me to run crazily around the house for no reason.
I'm also liking that dog now. He's smells very interesting. I've been sneaking up on him and hissing at him. I try to pounce him even though he's bigger than me. It's a whole bunch of fun!
Moma gave me some chicken this afternoon while she was fixing supper. Jessica says I love food just like Simon did. 'Tis true, I feel hungry whenever my foodbowl is empty. Hee Hee.
I hope everyone's Valentine's Day was wonderful and you all showed your humans some love.

Hello again everybody,
Saturday will be a week since I met my new family and I'm doing great. They treat me so well and give me lots of love and attention. My only gripe is the dog-he still makes my hair raise and I get a little hissy when he comes too close. Right now I'm resting on my big sissies' bed-my favorite place to sleep. I've been playing a lot with my sissies-they are such fun! I am a very frisky kitten and I keep them entertained too. I hope all of my friends are doing well. I'd like to thank all of you for the lovely gifts you've given me.
