Arrival Story:
Mommy & Daddy met online (it was love at first chat!), Daddy was in Iraq with the Army & Mommy was in California. Daddy asked Mommy to move to Oregon when he returned from Iraq. Shortly after moving in together, Mommy started looking online for kitty's. Daddy said "we should wait till we have a house"...when Mommy showed Daddy my picture it was love at first site! Within hours they came to meet me, Daddy played with me for an hour! They filled out the adoption papers, and I moved into their hearts that afternoon! Daddy named me after Morticia Adams, because of my beautiful black fur & stunning orange eyes! Since I'm an only child, I pay very close attention to my parents. I have learned to vocalize silly words they say to each other like "I love you" & "Now!" Even Dr. Quirk at Rose City Veterinary Hospital is impressed with my "odd" behaviour.
Bio:
I love to watch the world from my windows! Every night I meow by the front door to go out on the porch with Mommy and Daddy, this is our quality time. Lilly is still new to our home so, she has to stay inside. I am happiest when Mommy & Daddy stay home, why do they need to go outside? I have my people trained very well...I wake Mommy up at 6:30 in the morning 5 days a week, I do this to get my tuna. For some reason she gets dressed & leaves the house for hours after I do this! After Mommy disapears, I wake up Daddy because I hate being alone! I am lucky to have a stay at home Daddy, he has retired from the Military and is spending some quite time at home. After we play, I go back to sleep till I hear Daddy's talking box toy "jingle" (his cell phone). This is where Mommy is...she is inside the talking box! I pester Daddy for scratches, rubs, and to play fishing with my cool fishing pole toy I got last year for Christmas. This activity wears me out, I go back to sleep. In my spare time I play hockey with my cat food, play basketball with my mice (I fling them into the toilet...LOL), and I dismantle used Q-tips (I chew the ear wax off of the cotton, then hide the sticks under the bathroom rugs). I enjoy marathon racing up and down the hallway, also I love to leap onto the furniture.
Then around 5:00 I hear foot steps coming up the stairs...I dash to the door to greet Mommy, I flop on the floor to get some love! I observe Mommy very closely as she cooks dinner, I pester Mommy for my vitamin & treats. Then I pester each parent for rubs & love all night. Around 10:00 pm, I pester vocally to Mommy & Daddy that I'm ready for bed.

I hoped all year that Mommy & Daddy would bring the great tree back home! This year they got a bigger tree...with more lights! Each day a few funny colored boxes show up under the tree. I hope that one is for me! I've been a good girl all year, I behaved while we moved over the summer.
Dear Santa Paws, there are many things I want for Christmas. Mommy said I only get one box. So, I hope I get a water fountain...you know how much I enjoy playing in water! Love, Ticia
