Lately my substitute mom has been letting me sit on her lap while she sits in front of the typing thing. She has been looking at pictures of new stranger kitties! She has been talking to my mommy on the talking thing and saying that the stranger kitties are cute! But I am the cute one! Who are these other ones? She tried to explain that they are my new brother and sister and that they are very little. They just turned 4 months old. Their names are Gus and LuLu and they live with my mommy and daddy in the faraway place. The place I went to once with my mommy, hated, and was rescued from by my substitute mom.

I don't know about Gus and LuLu. I am very interested in looking at them on the typing thing. I even stop biting to look at them. They are SMALL and their faces are very weird. They are all round and they have big round eyes. My substitute mom told me they are something called "Scottish Folds." I wonder what I am called?

I wonder if my new "sister" and "brother" will be coming to visit my house? I don't think I would like that. I would be afraid and I would hiss. I hope my mommy and daddy still love me.

Wow!

I am so excited about being the cat of the week! Everyone can see how pretty I look in my pink scary sweater! (It is scary because it gives the white one a big tail when he sees me wearing it. I think that's funny.)

I was so overwhelmed when my mommy called to tell me the news, that I immediately bit my substitute mom on the arm. Then the smoky man picked me up and carried me around. I pretended I was on a tour of my new kingdom and I meowed at all of my subjects.

Will this go to my kitty head? Nah! I'll probably be chasing my tail by tonight!

"No."

I am learning about "No." I do not like "no." My substitute mom (who loves me best of all) has been getting angry at me lately and saying "No, Action. NO!" a lot. I heard her talking to my mommy on the weird talking machine. (I looked behind the machine again to see where mommy was, and I am sorry to say that I STILL cannot find her.) She was telling mommy that I was being bad. I know about bad. I think she doesn't like my new attention-seeking behavior. I bite. Lately, I have been biting quite a lot.

I bite in the morning when my substitute mom will not get out of the bed fast enough and pet me. I bite her blanket and try to pull it off with my teeth. This is very hard work for such a little girl, but I am getting better at it. If this doesn't work, I tap her face with my paw. Sometimes, I bite her nose. She does NOT like this. This is when I hear, "No, Action, NO." But she wakes up, so I think I am the smart one.

I also bite when she stops petting me before I am ready to stop being petted. I bite when she sits in front of the typing thing. I bite when I need more attention than I am getting. I bite when she talks on the weird machine. I don't bite HARD or anything, but sometimes she says, "ouch, Action!" I am not sure what that means.

I heard her talking to my mommy about asking the "vet" about this. Uh-oh. I do not like that word. When I start hearing that word, my kitty case comes out and I get tricked into getting locked into it. Then I have to go for a long scary car ride, and I get so upset I have to throw up.

Maybe I should listen to "no." It's better than the vet.
