Arrival Story:
Ruthie came to us on December 7th, a small 4 month old kitten. We had great times together and she even won the heart of our older calico, Kali...which is very hard to do. When I found her I knew something was wrong with her, I don't know how I knew. Then the mini seizures started. The were short and small. The vet said to just keep an eye on them. Then on April 28, 2008 we had to help our little Ruthie girl to the Rainbow Bridge. She started having grand mal seizures that day and it just got worse throughout the day. My husband stayed with her while she crossed because I am not strong enough to. She went peacefully with my husbands hand on her head, a familiar smell to her.
